These brightly colored door barriers help to prevent accidents by directing residents away from potential hazard areas. Promotes resident privacy. Placed across a room doorway, this brightly colored strip often stops the cognitively impaired wanderer from entering another resident’s room. It also acts as a reminder for the resident inside a room not to leave. Secured with hook and loop the door barrier is not a physical barrier, so it may be used as part of a restraint reduction program.
